A strong earthquake occurred in Afghanistan

A 5.7-magnitude earthquake occurred in the Hindu Kush mountain range in northeastern Afghanistan.

Axar.az reports that this was reported by the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).

According to information, the earthquake occurred 47 kilometers south of Jurm village of Badakhshan province with a population of about 12,100 people.

No casualties or damages were reported.
