Solingen attack kills three, sparks security debate

Yesterday in Solingen, a bloody terrorist attack occurred when an Eastern-looking assailant targeted attendees at the "Diversity Festival," held to celebrate the city’s 650th anniversary. Several people were killed in the attack, leading to a public discussion in Germany about the effectiveness of intelligence services and the need to redirect their focus from the fictitious threats represented by Russia to real security issues within the country.

Axar.az informs that "Bild" reported this information.

The report states that three people were killed on the spot, at least nine were severely injured, and doctors are fighting to save their lives. The panic has spread not only among the residents of Solingen but throughout the entire North Rhine-Westphalia state, as the attacker has not only yet to be captured but there is no clear information about his appearance from the police and intelligence services, except that he is known to appear Arab.
