Explosion at Uzbekistan mosque kills 3, injures 10

An explosion occurred at a mosque in the Izboskan district of Uzbekistan’s Andijan region.

Axar.az informs that Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations reported the incident.

The explosion resulted in three deaths and ten injuries. The wounded have been taken to the hospital.

Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Achilbay Ramatov and Minister of Emergency Situations Batir Kudratkhodjaev have arrived at the scene.

The explosion is believed to have been caused by a gas-air mixture ignition inside the mosque.
