A serious metrobus accident occurred in Istanbul’s Beylikdüzü district at 19:18, resulting in multiple casualties.

Axar.az, citing Turkish media, reports that one person has been confirmed dead and at least 40 others injured after a metrobus crashed into another at a station. Two of the injured are in critical condition.

The victims were promptly transported to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.

Istanbul Governor Davut Gül confirmed the updated casualty figures in an official statement.
