The causes of the fire at the “Azerbaijanfilm” studio are being investigated by the relevant authorities.
Axar.az reports that this information is provided by the Press Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
It was stated that last night, on the territory of the Jafar Jabbarli-named “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio, a fire caused by an explosion occurred in a building where pyrotechnic materials used in film productions were stored. The fire was extinguished in a short time thanks to the necessary and urgent measures taken by the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
As a result of the explosion, the structures of the one-story building with a total area of 200 m² were destroyed.
Other pyrotechnic materials stored in wooden boxes, 3 propane gas cylinders, and nearby buildings were protected from the fire.
There were no deaths or injuries in the incident.
