As a result of the forest fires that broke out in Bilecik province, 23 houses and a total of 47 facilities in 3 villages were destroyed, and 41 houses and 25 buildings, such as stables and warehouses, were seriously damaged.
Axar.az reports that Turkiye's Minister of Ecology, Urban Planning and Climate Change, Murat Kurum, shared this on his social media account.
He said that they have been closely following the fires that broke out in the Gölpazarı and Osmaneli districts of Bilecik from the first moment.
The damage and destruction assessments carried out by the employees of the Ministry's General Directorate of Construction Works have already been completed.
The minister said that 128 buildings were inspected in 3 villages in the two districts:
"A total of 150 areas were assessed. It was determined that 47 facilities, including 23 houses and 1 mosque, were destroyed, and 41 houses and 25 catering facilities such as stables and warehouses were severely damaged."
