At least 13 people were killed and 20 injured in a road accident near the Vostochnaya Denisovskaya mine in Yakutia last night.

Axar.az reports that the regional department of the Russian Emergencies Ministry and the prosecutor's office reported this.

According to the information, the bus carrying workers left the road at the exit of the mine and fell off a 30-meter cliff. There were 33 people on the bus at the time of the accident.

The Russian Investigative Committee announced that it had opened a criminal case under the article "Provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers" (Part 3 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code).
