The European Union welcomes the recent positive steps in the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Axar.az informs EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Magdalena Grono, stated this on her X account.

"Very much encouraged by the series of latest positive steps in the Azerbaijan - Armenia peace process, including the annoucement by Azerbaijan on the lifting of restrictions on the transit of goods for Armenia via Azerbaijan, yesterday's meeting between Azerbaijani and Armenian Speakers in Geneva, and the planned roundtable discussions of Armenian and Azerbaijani civil society experts in Yerevan," she noted.
