Azerbaijan and Iran FM's hold phone call

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov held a phone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Abbas Araghchi.

Axar.az reports, citing Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that the two sides discussed Azerbaijan–Iran bilateral relations, the current regional situation, and the ongoing negotiation process, including prospects for a diplomatic and political settlement of issues surrounding Iran.

Araghchi provided detailed information on the negotiation process.

Bayramov stressed Azerbaijan’s support for efforts aimed at resolving conflicts through peace and dialogue.

The ministers also exchanged views on other bilateral, regional, and international issues of mutual interest.
