Serbia and Azerbaijan should boost trade fivefold

Economic relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia should be further expanded.

Axar.az reports that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic made the remarks during a business meeting with entrepreneurs operating in our country as part of his visit to Azerbaijan.

"I hope that we will find new areas for our cooperation between Serbia and Azerbaijan. Because just as there are no borders for friendship between our countries, there should be no borders for our economic cooperation. I believe that our trade turnover should be five times higher than today's level, and I think we can achieve this," the President noted.

He noted that spa and mountain resorts in Serbia, especially in the eastern part of the country, have untouched nature: "The Serbian side is trying to attract Azerbaijani investors to the country and views this as mutual cooperation."
