The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, has met with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar during his working visit to New York.

Axar.az reports that the sides discussed the current agenda and future prospects of the Azerbaijan–Pakistan strategic partnership, reaffirming the importance of relations and strong political dialogue.

"We also discussed opportunities to further expand cooperation in economy, trade, energy, transport, defence industry and humanitarian spheres, as well as collaboration within the UN, OIC and other multilateral platforms," Bayramov wrote on X.

Regional and international security developments were also discussed.
