Saudi Arabia has suspended flights to Iran

Saudi Arabia has warned its citizens and foreigners about the spread of a new coronavirus in Iran (COVID-19).

Axar.az reports that Riyadh has blocked entry to other countries, except for Saudi Arabian citizens who have been in Iran. It is reported that these people will be allowed to enter Saudi Arabia only 14 days after leaving Iran.

The government of Saudi Arabia also announced that the flights to Iran were postponed. Kuwait and Iraq have taken similar steps before.

In Iran, 18 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, and 5 of them died.
