President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev spoke about the situation in the region after the war in his speech at the opening ceremony of the 6th World Intercultural Dialogue Forum on "Dialogue for Peace and Global Security", which started in Baku on May 1.

Axar.az reports that the head of our state emphasized that Azerbaijan is working very actively, that he initiated the negotiations on the peace agreement with Armenia, and even prepared the basic principles and draft of the peace agreement.

The President, who said that Azerbaijan had fully restored its sovereignty in September of last year, said that after that our country was subjected to political attacks, but despite this, he still offered peace. He said that now we are in a positive trend, we are moving towards peace.
