As part of the 13th Session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13), the presentation ceremony of the “A Dictionary for Cities” was held at the Azerbaijan Pavilion in the Urban Expo.

Axar.az reports that during the ceremony, Ramil Jahangirov, Head of the Project Management Department for the Liberated Territories at the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture, provided information about the book.

Ramil Jahangirov noted that the preparation of the glossary is a valuable initiative: “For the past five years, and even longer, we have been actively cooperating with international partners. This cooperation involves not only us, but also young architects, young urban planning specialists and companies working closely with international partners. In this context, having a shared professional language is extremely important. That is why we consider this glossary a useful and practical tool for architects, urban planners and everyone interested in the field. This publication will help unify terminology, ensure a better understanding of concepts and support familiarity with key terms related to modern trends.”
