Quince festival kicks off in Azerbaijan's Aghdash -

The Quince Festival has kicked off in Azerbaijan's Aghdash district.

Axar.az reports that the festival is jointly organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Aghdash District Executive Authority to promote the district's agricultural potential, local products and tourism opportunities.

The festival showcases Aghdash's achievements in agriculture, its quince-growing traditions and products made by local producers.

An exhibition and sales fair has also been organised with the participation of farmers and entrepreneurs.

One of this year's new features is the introduction of modern technologies. For the first time, the festival is showcasing robotics, artificial intelligence, innovative solutions, startup projects and examples of alternative energy.

The Quince Festival is aimed at expanding local producers' access to markets, promoting entrepreneurship and agritourism, and introducing Aghdash's local products and traditional culinary specialities to a wider audience.
