Neymar da Silva, the father of Brazilian footballer Neymar, has been appointed CEO of Santos FC.

Axar.az reports that, according to the club's press service, Neymar will play a strategic role in the club's planning until December. If Marcelo Teixeira is re-elected in the presidential election scheduled for December 12, Neymar's father will remain in the position.

It should be noted that Neymar has been playing for Santos since 2025. His contract with the club runs until December 31, 2026.

The 34-year-old forward has made 27 appearances for Santos this season, scoring 10 goals and providing eight assists.
