Zelensky warns of possible new Russian strikes

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine's intelligence has information suggesting that Russia is preparing new strikes on energy facilities, bridges across the Dnipro River and civilian infrastructure across the country.

Axar.az reports that Zelensky made the statement in a post on social media.

"We currently have intelligence indicating preparations for a new strike targeting our energy infrastructure, bridges across the Dnipro River and civilian infrastructure," he said.

According to him, Ukraine's Air Force and Armed Forces are preparing to repel possible attacks, but the task is "not easy".

The Ukrainian leader also stressed the need for additional interceptor missiles for Patriot air defence systems.

"We need interceptor missiles for Patriot systems. Every agreement matters, and every day of deliveries is of great importance. We strongly urge our partners not to postpone deliveries," he noted.

Zelensky also urged citizens to follow safety precautions amid the continuing threat of missile attacks.
