More than 100 million manats invested in Shusha

A total of 1,411 people have been relocated to Shusha so far, and resettlement to one or two villages in the district is planned for this year.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Aydin Karimov, the Azerbaijani president’s special representative in the Shusha district.

He said residents will be relocated to 43 apartment buildings currently under construction in the city of Shusha.

“Next year, around 9 families will be relocated to Shusha. At the initial stage, 50 families will be relocated to the villages,” Karimov said.

He also noted that not only the state, but also the private sector has invested in Shusha.

“To date, more than 100 million manats have been invested in Shusha overall,” he added.
