Iran envoy offers condolences over Azerbaijan consul death

Iran’s ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mojtaba Demirchilu, has issued a condolence message over the death of Azerbaijani consul Ramil Imranov in Tabriz.

Axar.az reports that this was stated on the Telegram channel of the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan.

The ambassador said he received the news of Imranov’s death in a road accident with deep sorrow.

He extended his sincere condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased, as well as to the staff of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Demirchilu also prayed for mercy upon the diplomat and wished patience for his family and loved ones, noting that he lost his life while performing his official duties.
