The official parade of the "President's Cup" international rowing regatta dedicated to the 101st anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held.

Axar.az reports that about 30 teams from more than 20 countries marched with flags in the parade organized on Heydar Aliyev Avenue in Mingachevir.

Athletes were accompanied by volunteers carrying the national flag of Azerbaijan and a special car with rowing boats on it. The parade was greeted with great enthusiasm by the residents of the city.

After the passage of the athletes, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played. After that, the officials visited the monument of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev located in Mingachevir, and laid flowers in front of the monument. The event continued with interesting dances by the dance group and athletes.

After the parade, a pre-regatta meeting of the participating teams was held. During the meeting, the lots for the competitions were also drawn.
