Axar.az reports that the Cabinet of Ministers decided on this.

It was reported that the "Master plan for the development of Kalbajar until 2040" was prepared by order of the State Urban Planning and Architecture Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan in order to ensure the implementation of Article 5.1.1 of the Urban Planning and Construction Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The last General Plan of Kalbajar city was drawn up in 1969 and the reporting period covered the period until 2000.

According to the years provided for in the master plan, areas have been allocated for the housing fund of the city population, social and cultural-household service facilities. In addition, in accordance with the development of the city, the principle of settlement is based on the protection of the natural landscape and taking into account the territorial zones. Transport and engineering-communication infrastructure is planned according to the development of the city.
