The Milli Majlis addressed a congratulatory letter to Mehriban Aliyeva, First Vice-President and president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Axar.az reports that Sahiba Gafarova, the Speaker of the Milli Majlis, made a speech at today's session of the parliament.

Deputies unanimously accepted the chairman's proposal.

It should be noted that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation was created out of the desire to express the respect of our nation to the memory of Heydar Aliyev, who entered our history as the founder of an independent state on May 10, 2004, to reflect his rich spiritual heritage, to emphasize the importance of the Azerbaijani philosophy for our country, to renew the ideas of national statehood. It was created due to the need to instil in generations.
