WHO Chief will attend Baku Forum

World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus will visit Baku on March 12-13 to participate in the 12th Global Baku Forum organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the WHO Azerbaijan office.

Ghebreyesus will deliver a speech at the opening ceremony on global health issues and the importance of international cooperation.

On March 13, he will participate in a high-level panel discussion on Rethinking Multilateralism in a Multipolar World and share his views on global health governance with the participants.

As part of the visit, Ghebreyesus is also expected to hold high-level meetings with government officials.
