Real Madrid midfielder Arda Guler has become the first Turkish footballer to reach a market value of €100 million.

Axar.az reports, citing Transfermarkt, that the 21-year-old Turkiye international reached the milestone in the latest LaLiga market-value update, surpassing Juventus midfielder Kenan Yildiz’s previous record of €75 million.

Guler has established himself as a regular for Real Madrid and has contributed directly to four goals in the club’s first seven matches of the season.

The new valuation also puts Guler at the top of the current ranking of the most valuable Turkish players, ahead of Yildiz (€75 million) and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Can Uzun (€45 million).
