In Armenia, law enforcement blocked the path of Armenian Catholicos Garegin II as he approached the Sardarapat Memorial.

Axar.az reports that this information was provided by Armenian media.

It was reported that the Catholicos was prevented from entering the memorial complex.

However, a few minutes later, Garegin II was able to reach the memorial.

It should be noted that prior to this, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had visited the area. The Prime Minister visited the complex a few hours after the members of the "Tavush for the Homeland" movement had left.

Such an incident has not occurred before in Armenia's history.
