Turkiye does not rule out sending a peacekeeping contingent to Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Zeki Aktürk, spokesperson for the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, during a weekly briefing.

“Turkiye is a country that fosters peace and stability in the region and seeks to contribute to all related initiatives. However, first a ceasefire must be established between Russia and Ukraine, and then the mandate and the extent to which each country can contribute to the process should be determined. It would not be correct to make assessments based on forecasts that have not yet been finalized,” the spokesperson said.
