Turkish journalist Fateh Altayli appears in court

Turkish journalist Fateh Altayli, who was detained over allegations of using "threatening statements against the president," will appear in court for the first time today.

Axar.az reports according to local media, the journalist is being tried with a potential prison sentence of no less than five years.

His first court hearing will take place today.
