Power outage hits Crimea’s Yevpatoria

Electricity supply has been disrupted across the Crimean city of Yevpatoria due to an accident, local authorities said.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that the city administration said power was unavailable throughout Yevpatoria as of 09:20.

“We are once again facing a problem with electricity supply in Yevpatoria and all the resulting consequences. As of 09:20, there is no electricity across the city, water is also unavailable in most districts, and trams are not running,” the administration said.

Authorities said repair crews have been working since the night, but the exact timing of power restoration remains unknown.
