Three killed, 35 injured in Russian strikes on Kharkiv

Three people were killed and 35 others injured, including children, in Russian strikes on Kharkiv on October 5, Ukrainian officials said.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, that Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said at least three guided aerial bombs struck the city, while a combat drone also targeted a petrol station in the Kyivskyi district.

The guided bombs hit the Slobidskyi district, setting warehouses on fire and damaging residential buildings. Terekhov said people could be trapped under the rubble of one building.

Regional authorities said 35 people were receiving medical treatment following the attack. Search and rescue operations and inspections of the strike sites are continuing.
