Iran condemns UK allegations over RAF Fairford incident

Iran’s Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned allegations by British officials linking Tehran to a security incident at RAF Fairford, describing them as baseless and politically motivated.

Axar.az reports, citing the Ministry, that in a statement, the ministry accused the UK of using the allegations to advance an anti-Iran campaign.

"Iran considers these claims a despicable conspiracy aimed at advancing the anti-Iran campaign and evading accountability for Britain's participation in the US-Israeli military aggression against the Iranian people," the statement said.

It should be noted that the Iranian ambassador was summoned to the British Foreign Office today.
