The Russian-Belarusian Business Council has called on the Belarusian leadership to start talks with the opposition.

Axar.az reports that if this step is not taken, the chances of overcoming the crisis will be lost. It was stressed that a special committee should be set up by Belarusian intellectuals, businessmen and politicians to hold talks with the government.

At the same time, the council asked the Russian leadership to stay out of the conflict resolution process.
