In some food products imported from Iran to Azerbaijan, it was found that the amount of "Mold-maya" mushrooms and "Aflatoxin B1" exceeded the norm.
Axar.az reports that according to information provided by the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AQTA), business entities operating in Iran - "Soda Tejarat Diba", "Tolidi Bazargani Modern Sazan Mandegar", "Behzad Tejarat Aras Ilman", "Maham Tejarat Dena Paydar", "Asia Fruits", "Hamid Fallah Co." and "Seyed Reza Farahmandnia" LLC, samples of date, pistachio, gooseberry, and roasted hemp products exported to Azerbaijan were taken and analyzed.
It was noted in the information that as a result of the examinations, it was found that the amount of "Mold-yeast" mushrooms and "Aflatoxin B1" in the product batches exceeded the norm. Appropriate measures have been taken by the legislation regarding the discovered facts.
