American intelligence believes that Israel is responsible for the failure of the negotiation process with Hamas to resolve the conflict in the Gaza Strip, because the only goal of the Jewish state is to destroy all members of the Palestinian movement.

Axar.az reports that American journalist and Pulitzer Prize laureate Seymour Hersh wrote about this in his blog.
