Russian leader Vladimir Putin made a video appeal to the people.

Axar.az reports that in the address that took place a few minutes ago, Putin mainly spoke about striking Ukraine with long-range missiles deep into Russia and Russia's use of intercontinental ballistic missiles for the first time.

Putin's main theses are:

- On November 19, six US-made ATACMS operational-tactical missiles and on November 21, Great Britain-made "Storm Shadow" systems hit the military facilities of the Russian Federation in Bryansk and Kursk regions; Russian air defense forces repulsed the attacks and the enemy did not achieve their goals;

- From this moment, as we have repeatedly emphasized, global elements have been acquired in Ukraine, which was previously provoked by the West;

- Russia considers itself to have the right to use weapons against the military facilities of countries that use weapons against the Russian Federation;

- Our troops are successfully advancing along the entire combat contact line, all the tasks we have set before us will be solved;

- The Russian Armed Forces launched a complex attack on the object of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine in response to the attacks of the American and British weapons on Russia;

- Russia will respond to the escalation decisively and with a mirror effect;

- The missile used by Russia is called "Oreshnik". Currently, it is impossible to prevent "Oreshnik" missiles;

- The latest Russian missiles attack targets at a speed of 2-3 km per second, and the existing missile defense systems of the enemy do not stop them;

- The Russian Federation will offer Ukrainian civilians in advance to leave the danger zone when missiles are used.

- The Russian Federation hit Yuzhmash with a nuclear-free hypersonic ballistic missile;

- Russia prefers peaceful means, at the same time it is ready for any development of events, there will always be an answer.
