The rearmament plan adopted at the European Union summit will lead to the creation of Germany’s largest army since World War II.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

"The plan focuses on strengthening the defense of EU countries, improving their armed forces, and developing their military industries. As a result, the German army will become the largest in Europe," Orban emphasized.

It is worth noting that EU leaders reached an agreement on the European Commission's proposal for an €800 billion plan to militarize Europe (the EU's rearmament) during the summit in Brussels.
