Picasso’s “Still Life with Guitar” was stolen in Spain

The painting "Still Life with Guitar" by the world-famous artist Pablo Picasso has disappeared.

Axar.az reports that the publication "Ideal" published information about this.

It was reported that the work disappeared while being transported from Madrid to Granada, and the police are investigating.

The painting was insured for approximately 600,000 euros. It was supposed to be exhibited at the exhibition "Still Life: The Eternity of Inertia" at the "Caja-Granada" Foundation, which opened in Granada last week.

Thus, while checking the works, gallery employees realized that one of the paintings was missing. As a result, the exhibition opened without "Still Life with Guitar".

Although all storage and transportation conditions were strictly observed, Picasso's "Still Life with Guitar" disappeared during transit.

Law enforcement agencies are confident that the artist's work was stolen by criminals. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
