Nuri Ahmedov, founder of AzEuroTel, dies

Nuri Agha Ahmedov, one of the founders of the Baku International Jazz Festival, has died.

Axar.az reports that actor Bahram Bagirzade announced the news.

The cause of Ahmedov’s death was not disclosed.

It should be noted that Ahmedov, a recipient of a personal pension from the President of Azerbaijan, founded and served as CEO of AzEuroTel, a joint Azerbaijani-British company, from 1995 to 2014.
