Turkiye renovates tomb of Sultan Mahmud of Ghaznavi

The Turkish Embassy in Kabul has renovated the tomb of the Turkish Sultan Mahmud of Ghaznavi in Ghazni, Afghanistan.

Axar.az reports that the Turkish Embassy in Kabul has released a statement on this.

According to the information, the renovation of the historical tomb was carried out at the initiative of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Organization.

Turkish Ambassador to Kabul, Cenk Unal, called the tomb of Sultan Mahmud of Ghaznavi one of the most valuable symbols of the deep-rooted relations between Turkiye and Afghanistan.

It should be noted that Sultan Mahmud of Ghaznavi was the most famous ruler of the Ghaznavid dynasty from 998 to 1030.
