On 3-4 October the city of Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan will host the 21st meeting of the CIS Interstate Council on cooperation in periodical press, book publishing, distribution and polygraphy, press service of CIS Executive Committee said.

The participants will consider the course of implementation of the decisions of the 20th meeting of the Interstate Council, discuss the results of the 13th international contest “Art of the book” of CIS member states and the questions of preparation for the next 14th contest.

The Council members will discuss some aspects of carrying out contests of the book-selling entities of the CIS member states and will sum up the results of the events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of formation of the Commonwealth.

The meeting participants will also consider a number of organizational questions.
