Russian artist Lev Shimelov dies at 96

Honored Artist of Russia Lev Shimelov has passed away at the age of 96.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that the news was confirmed by local sources.

It should be noted that film director and actor Lev Shimelov was born in Baku in 1930. He worked in Azerbaijan for some time before later moving to Moscow.

Shimelov was also among the artists who voiced the famous Soviet animated film “Plasticine Crow.”
