Axar.az reports, citing PopBase, that the action has impacted a number of high-profile users and influencers.

Instagram regularly carries out such measures to improve platform authenticity and ensure more accurate follower counts.

As a result, several celebrities and influencers experienced sudden drops in their follower numbers:
