Peabo Bryson, singer behind beloved Disney classics, dies

Veteran R&B singer Peabo Bryson, renowned for performing the Disney classics “Beauty and the Beast” and “A Whole New World,” has died at the age of 75.

Axar.az reports that the cause of death has not been publicly disclosed. However, Bryson suffered a stroke over the weekend and had been receiving medical treatment.

Bryson earned two Grammy Awards, in 1992 and 1993, for the iconic Disney duets that became defining songs of a generation: “Beauty and the Beast” with Celine Dion from the film Beauty and the Beast, and “A Whole New World” with Regina Belle from Aladdin.
