Turkish singers detained in drug investigation

Turkish singers Sila Gencoghlu and Ilyas Yalcintash have been detained as part of a narcotics investigation.

Axar.az reports, ciitng Turkish media, the Bakirkoy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation targeting 25 suspects, including singers, actors, producers, businesspeople, and entrepreneurs.

The investigation includes allegations of facilitating drug use and providing premises for drug use. As part of the probe, singers Sila Genchoghlu and Ilyas Yalchintash, along with producer Fatih Aksoy, were taken into custody.
