A farewell ceremony for People’s Artist Tofig Bakikhanov is being held.

Axar.az informs that state officials, representatives of culture and the arts, the late composer’s colleagues, friends, family members and members of the public are attending the ceremony.

President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva have also sent wreaths to the farewell ceremony.

Tofig Bakikhanov will be buried at the Second Alley of Honor.

People’s Artist Tofig Bakikhanov has been laid to rest at the Second Alley of Honor.

It should be noted that the People’s Artist died on August 23 at the age of 96.
