Azerbaijan to join int’l book fair in London

Azerbaijan will be represented in the next International Book Fair in London.

Promotion of Azerbaijani culture, tourism, publishing and printing sector, strengthening of partnerships with foreign colleagues and bringing the true information to the world community on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue are among the main aims of joining this event.

The Fair will run on April 12-14 and bring together over 1,000 organizations from 60 countries.

Azerbaijan attended the book fair for the first time in 2009. This year, Azerbaijani delegation includes members of the Culture and Tourism Ministry and national publishers.

The London Book Fair is the global marketplace for rights negotiation and the sale and distribution of content across print, audio, TV, film and digital channels.

Taking place every spring in the world`s premier publishing and cultural capital, it is a unique opportunity to hear from authors, enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and explore innovations shaping the publishing world of the future.
