Prince Harry has asked his brother Prince William to be his best man. Harry will have his big brother beside him as he marries Meghan Markle at Windsor Castle on May 19. Kensington Palace has just announced the news on social media.

In a statement, the palace said: ‘Prince Harry has asked his brother The Duke of Cambridge to be his Best Man at his wedding to Ms. Meghan Markle. ‘The Duke of Cambridge is honoured to have been asked, and is very much looking forward to supporting his brother at St George’s Chapel, Windsor on May 19th. ‘Prince Harry served as best man to The Duke of Cambridge at his wedding to Miss Catherine Middleton in 2011.’

Tradition demands that the best man has the honour of organising the stag do. But with William’s plate already full as father to a newborn royal baby, it could become a quiet affair.
