The National Museum will host visitors from December 6 to February 28.

The exhibition aims to show visitors how goldsmiths’ works were made in ancient times.

The museum reconstructed ancient technologic methods and made an exact copy of Trialeti goblet, which is a masterpiece of goldsmith’s work dated to the second millennium BCE. Moreover, the exhibition presents the results of experimental research regarding the Trialeti goblet.

In addition to the ancient archaeological finds, the exhibition also presents for the first time some gold jewelry of Late Antiquity (2nd-4th century AD), goldsmiths' tools from the museum's ethnographic collection, and items made from gold and precious metals.

The exhibition Wisdom Transformed into Gold provides an opportunity for viewers to study the Trialeti goblet in details with the help of modern visual techniques. The Trialeti goblet can be seen in the permanent exhibition Archaeological Treasury.

The exhibition is accompanied by various educational programs for viewers of every interest and age.
