In Russia Putin inspires new fashions -

Thinking about a fashion makeover this season? In Russia, the style-conscious (and perhaps politically aware) need look no further than a new collection inspired by the President, Vladimir Putin.

Axar.az reports citing Forbes that the range, entitled "Team Putin", has gone on sale at a boutique on central Moscow's fashionable Bolshaya Dmitrovka street. The site was formerly occupied by a Christian Louboutin store. The designs have been produced by the Russian internet retailer, Aizel. There are collections for both men and women.

One of the more eye-catching items is a sweatshirt featuring a picture of Putin in dark glasses against a background of daisies. Online, it's on sale for 5,800 roubles ($91, £70).
