Paramount has revealed the redesigned Sonic the Hedgehog in the new trailer for the live-action movie.

Axar.az reports citing DS that the first design of the live-action Sonic was met with such a backlash that the movie was delayed, and it seems like the delay has been worth the wait as this is a much better design for the speedy hedgehog.

Sonic's new look is more in-line with what fans expect and closer to the game design, with less of the realistic features that terrified fans first time around.

Sonic the Hedgehog follows the adventures of Sonic (voiced by Ben Schwartz) as he teams up with his human best friend Tom (James Marsden) to stop the villainous plans of Dr Robotnik (Jim Carrey).
