Ilham Aliyev`s post on the Memory of Heydar Aliyev

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has shared a post on his Facebook page the commemoration of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.

Axar.az reports that the head of state quoted Heydar Aliyev as saying, "For me, to protect Azerbaijan's independence, to preserve it, to make it eternal is more important than my life."

Today is 16 years since the death of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
